After months of talks, Myloan Limited and Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) Referee’s Committee are proud to officially announce that Myloan Limited will be partnering with LeFA and Referee’s Association to improve match officiating in Lesotho Football. Match officials will be sponsored with on-field and off-field kit which match officials will use during domestic competitions. This sponsorship will see Myloan invest M120,000.00 over the three (3) years period, starting from August 2022 to August 2025.
This unique partnership and sponsorship will afford Myloan Limited high visibility on field at all Premier League matches. The sponsorship extends beyond branded apparel; at its core, is the welfare and development of refereeing in Lesotho.
Myloan Sales and Marketing Manager, Moliehi Motsoaole stated that the company was over the moon to see this deal come to fruition and team up with the Lesotho Football Association to put more resources towards its match officials, who are already doing the country proud internationally.
“We are very excited to be part of this venture. Myloan Limited saw it fit to support match officials as a way of acknowledging their hard work. The work of match officials is admirable hence our interest to offer this sponsorship to see more growth in refereeing.” Myloan Marketing Manager stated.
The sponsorship will support 30 referees officiating in the Premier League matches. The handover of this sponsorship will be on the 28th October 2022 at Kingsway Mall. Referee’s Committee Chairman and NEC member, Mr. Tebalo Mpiti, expressed his delight about this partnership between LeFA and Myloan Limited, which he believes will elevate match officiating to high standards in the country.
“We are very excited and honoured to have Myloan partnering with us in our mandate to develop and improve the level of match officiating in the country,” The LeFA Referees Committee Chairman said.
